The often controversial and topical subject of compatibility between business development and heritage and environment protection is to be the focus of a round table debate organised by the Times of Malta, the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Din l-Art Ħelwa.

Taking part in this debate will be Simon Molesworth, executive and founder president of the International National Trusts Organisation, who has been invited to visit Malta by DLĦ as part of its 50th anniversary outreach programme.

DLĦ is a founder member of INTO and Nature Trust Malta an associate member.

The debate will focus on several issues surrounding business development and environment protection with leaders in both sectors and will be by invitation for members of the Malta Chamber of Commerce.

Taking part in the debate will be Simon Molesworth

There will be a panel discussion between representatives from business as well as environmentalists, moderated by John Vassallo, former Microsoft vice president for EU affairs and former Ambassador of Malta to the EU.

This event will be held on September 16 at 5pm at the Sir Agostino Portelli Hall of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, The Exchange Buildings, Republic Street, Valletta.

On September 16 at 11am, Molesworth will also be presenting a public talk organised by DLĦ, which will focus on heritage and environment management and balanced land use planning.

This will be held at the University of Malta, Valletta Campus in St Paul Street, Valletta. As seating is limited, attendance is by invitation through Din l-Art Ħelwa on info@dinlarthelwa.org.
