Where did the Pope get those peepers?

Much to the surpise of a local optician in Rome, Pope Francis paid a visit to pick up his own glasses. The shop owner, who has made eyeglasses for the Pope before, has always delivered them to the Vatican. This time, Pope Francis was driven to an upscale part of Rome, drawing a large crowd of curious tourists and Romans outside.

After making sure the glasses were properly fit by the the shop owner, the Pontiff requested that his old pair be recycled. He then paid for his new pair.
