An All Ideas Matter staff suggestion scheme by Banif Bank culminated in an awards ceremony during the bank’s summer staff party.
AIM is a platform through which team members can submit ideas for the improvement of key areas of the bank’s operations.
A number of entries addressed improvements in quality of service, efficiency of processes, cost reduction, increase in revenue, better use of resources and employee well-being.
Every quarter, the best suggestion is chosen and an employee is invited to present their idea to members of the bank’s executive committee, while best suggestion and best contributor are given awards.
“The benefits of this scheme are twofold,” said Simon Grech, head of corporate services at Banif Bank.
“Our employees get extra motivation and a sense of satisfaction at seeing their ideas being implemented, while the bank benefits from the positive feedback.”
