• The feast of Our Lady of Loreto will be celebrated in Għajnsielem today. Bishop Mario Grech will concelebrate Mass with the parish clergy at 9am. Archpriest Frankie Bajada will deliver the panegyric. Horse races in Mġarr Road start at 2pm. Marches will be performed at 5.15pm by St Margaret Band and at 6.30pm by St Joseph Band. Solemn vespers will be sung at 6.30pm led by Mgr Joseph Cauchi. The procession, led by Cauchi and accompanied by St Joseph Band, leaves the church at 7.30pm. Leone Band will give a performance at Our Lady of Loreto Square at 8.15pm. The procession will end with the antiphon and the sacramental blessing. On Tuesday at 6.30pm archpriest Frankie Bajada will lead a thanksgiving Mass, after which the statue will be placed in its niche.
• The Delicata Classic Wine Festival will continue today at Ġnien il-Kunsill, Nadur, accompanied by live entertainment. It opens at 7pm, with last wines poured at 11.30pm before closing at midnight.
• Members of Il-Fergħa Ewkaristika (Għawdex) will meet at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary on Saturday at 3pm to celebrate Mass and for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament till 4pm. All are welcome to attend.
• The Gozitan Graduates Movement will hold a Mass for graduates and members of all professions in Gozo, including couples, on Friday at 8.30pm at St Augustine’s church, Victoria.
• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Hamet, on Saturday at 8.30pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
• Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer-winning play Our Town will be Gozo Live’s summer production, directed by Rob Ricards.
