5. Take in some jazz with Kikker Trio

Kikker, meaning ‘frog’ in Dutch, is an Amsterdam-based trio consisting of musicians from Japan, Holland and Malta. Join in for a night of music, covering jazz repertoire and some original material. The concert takes place on Friday at Django, Valletta. Doors open at 9pm.

Part of the Valletta International Visual Arts festival (VIVA) , The Culture of Ageing is an exhibition that focuses on the way societies deal with an ageing population.
Curated by Lennard Dost and Mare van Koningsveld, the exhibition runs until September 27 at St James Cavalier, Valletta.

The Eden Cinemas is screening a one-time only live broadcast of The Rocky Horror Show stage production, filmed at the Playhouse Theatre in the West End, London. On the way to visit an old college professor, two clean-cut kids, Brad Majors and his fiancée Janet Weiss, run into tyre trouble and seek help from the Frankenstein place, where Dr Frank N. Furter is in the midst of one of his maniacal experiment.

Ready to thrill with fun and naughty moments, this is the boldest musical of them all, so get ready for a night of frolic, bursting with timeless classics, including Sweet Transvestite, the Time Warp and Dammit Janet. Dressing up in character is welcomed but optional.
