Australian soft rock group Air Supply hope to 'leave an impression' on audiences with their “passionate and loud” concert at MFCC in Ta' Qali on Friday.

The duo, Graham Russel and Russell Hitchcock are on a world tour to mark their 40th anniversary.

Malta and Ireland are the only two stops the group is making in Europe.

“We just love to play live, it’s our passion. After 40 years, we’re still having lots of fun and enjoying performing for our audiences,” Russel said.

Speaking of their anniversary, the pair said they created a unique sound in 1975 which they have kept to this day.

“We don’t follow trends, we just do what we love. When we first started out, we were very young and still very green. Russel often says we didn’t make any mistakes back then because really, we had no idea what was happening.”

On Friday, audiences can expect to hear most of the group’s hits, including Lost in Love and All Out of Love.
