ABELA. On August 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, of Sliema, aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Joe leaves to mourn his great loss his wife May, his brother John and wife Sylvia, his children and their spouses, Carmen and Claudio, Steve and Katya, Joanna and Godwin, Pierre and Kim, Caroline and Paul, his beloved grandchildren Chiara, Kristina, Keith, Kaya, Julia, Sara, Andrew, Martina, Cain, Sophie and Sebastian, together with in-laws, other relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn his brothers Henry and his wife Joyce, Louis and his wife Pauline, Joseph and his wife Violet, and Nikos, husband of his late sister Marie; his beloved nephews and nieces Saviour, Mario, Louisienne, Claudia, Stefano, Tiziana, Evan and Inez, their respective spouses and children; his numerous friends, including those at the polo club. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.30am for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. LOFARO. On August 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELINE, née Agius of Birkirkara, aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Charles, her daughters Mirelle and her husband Raymond Spiteri, Valerie and her partner Henry Salomone and Stephanie and her husband Anthony Cutajar, her grandchildren Neville, Emma, Nicholas, Bernard, Mark, Marija and Manwel, her brothers and sister, in-laws and their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
