Global dermatology company Galderma launched its latest hyaluronic acid-based filler range called Emervel in Malta.

Galderma said it strives to innovate by offering physicians more options and patients superior and safer results. With Restylane, the first hyaluronic acid range of fillers created over 15 years ago, the brand has set a gold standard in the industry, the company said.

To introduce the Emervel range in Malta and to continue updating local Restylane injectors with the latest techniques, Galderma, in collaboration with its local agent Prohealth, invited renowned plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon Carlo Di Gregorio to Malta to conduct a training workshop.

The workshop took place at the Persona Med-Aesthetic Centre in Ta’ Xbiex over two days. Local injector doctors and leading plastic surgeons were provided with in-depth product training, accompanied by key insights into latest techniques. Great emphasis was made on the importance of a natural look and outcome at all times.

Participants witnessed innovative lifting and filling techniques. The new Emervel Hyaluronic Acid-based range provides subtle results and alternatives for lip and cheek augmentation.

Galderma also recently launched a new ‘Proof in real life’ campaign, aiming to challenge misconceptions that aesthetic treatments create extreme results by proving the subtle results in real life.

Hosted by actress Sharon Stone in Berlin, the event served to shed more light on the subject and a better understanding of aesthetic treatments and the natural-looking results they can create.

“So many people are put off by aesthetic treatments because of extreme images. The campaign has provided results first hand, giving people an opportunity to judge for themselves,” Stone said.

Restylane, Emervel and Restylane SkinBoosters treatments can be performed by plastic surgeons and other injector doctors, as well as at the Ta’ Xbiex centre.
