• Consumers must be informed about their cancellation rights before they download or stream the purchased digital content.
• If the digital content about to be streamed or downloaded involves payment, the consumer must be clearly informed about this before the order is placed.
• When purchased digital content is to be availed of during the cancellation period, consumers must give their consent that they are willing to lose their cancellation rights.
• The best way to cancel a distance sales contract is in writing, so that consumers have proof that cancellation has been made within the legal time-limit.
