Argus Insurance Agencies Ltd won a Silver Stevie Award in the Company of the Year – Business Service category at the 12th annual International Business Awards.

The company has been recognised for excellence in the areas of smart and professional management, personal and commercial insurance solutions, focus on customer and training for staff, good performance and for focus on the organisation’s HR.

The awards, open to individuals and organisations worldwide, received over 3,700 nominations from more than 60 countries.

Argus Insurance chief executive Vanessa Borg said: “Our employees are genuinely happy and excited about where they work and this transpires in the way they focus on the customer. As a team, we have all rallied together to reach the high standards expected of Stevie Award winners and we have exceeded the benchmarks on a number of fronts. We have set up an academy to deliver holistic training programmes for our employees and leveraged our multinational status to provide them with opportunities to work at Argus offices in Bermuda and Gibraltar.”

Argus Group Holdings Ltd CEO Alison Hill said: “These awards are especially gratifying because they use customer feedback as a major part of the evaluation process. Nicknamed ‘Stevie’ for the Greek word for ‘crowned’, the awards will be presented to winners at a gala reception at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Canada, on October 23.
