GATT. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of CHARLES GATT Jr. Born in Sliema on August 7, 1934, to Carmela and Charles, Charlie passed in his sleep comfortably in Norwalk, Connecticut, on August 13, 2015. Charlie was the loving husband to Sallie, his bride of over 50 years, and father to twin sons Chuck and Peter and his daughter Heather. Charlie was the central figure in his large and extended family and survived by his long- time sweetheart Sallie, Peter and Heather, his precious sisters Dorothy and Margaret, brother Frank, sister-in-law Julie, his nine grandchildren, and 11 nieces and nephews, and friends. His epic blowout bash celebrating his 50th birthday with family and friends in Malta is highly memorable. We are so happy that one of his last trips included Malta and visits with lifetime friends and members of the ‘Poodles’ Carnival company and Lyceum school. A memorial service will be held in Malta by his cousins and friends in the coming days. May he rest in peace.
