Dirk Kuyt scored the second goal of his second spell at Feyenoord in a 2-0 victory at Cambuur Leeuwarden that brought them level with Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie, yesterday.
The Dutch striker, who has two goals in two wins since returning to the club, scored a 90th-minute penalty awarded when Cambuur’s Erik Bakker handled in the area, after debutant Michiel Kramer had given Feyenoord the lead with a diving header from a counter-attack.
In another match from the Dutch league, PSV Eindhoven secured their first victory of the season against FC Groningen after Luciano Narsingh’s two goals.
The forward collected an exceptional long-range through-ball from team-mate Maxime Lestienne, which split Groningen’s defence, before calmly rounding goalkeeper Sergio Padt and placing the hosts ahead in the eighth minute.
Narsingh scored again, with 13 minutes to play, when his left-footed shot from inside the area curled beyond Padt’s reach.
