The director general (Consumer Affairs) is issuing a public statement, in terms of Article 8 of the Consumer Affairs Act (Cap. 378), whereby the public is being informed that the advert of quality proofing liquid membrane, published in the Hotspot Magazine’s issues of July and August (numbers 46 and number 47 respectively), contains incorrect information – the postal address indicated is the wrong address.

Moreover, the name, surname and identification details of the trader operating under the trade name ‘Quality proofing liquid membrane’ have been omitted. This incorrect information and/or lack of information adversely affects the interests and rights of consumers.
