5. A gig on a bus

The Busker’s bug gig is back for a second round with a delightfully retro and unique approach to the eternal question: where can a young band hold a gig? Judging by the response from last year, “on a vintage Maltese bus” is one of the best answers ever.

Expect live music with a psychedelic touch with colourful textures decorating the interiors of the bus and live music blaring as the itinerary takes you to different spots around Malta.

The gig takes place on August 28. The pickup point is outside Coach & Horses, Birkirkara and booking needs to be made through the Facebook event page.

4. A concert in Maltese

The Kelma Kelma Nota Nota concerts, a collaboration between the Kelma Kelma Facebook page and the Daniel Cauchi and his Big Band Brothers, are back for a third instalment from August 25 to 27. Following the women-themed concerts in July, which featured singer Ira Losco and the participation of beloved literary characters Kunċett u Marinton, the theme for the upcoming concerts is Kieku d-Dinja Kienet Maltija (If the world were to be Maltese).
