In totalitarian regimes, dissenting parents have often been faced by a daunting task. They have to desensitise their children to the ideology they are forced to receive during their hours of schooling.
Today, in many democracies of the developed world, including Malta, Christians as well as followers of other faiths are often faced by a similar hard undertaking. Their children are being exposed to ideologies which run counter to their faith, especially to the natural moral order as decreed by God, such as marriage being solely between a man and a woman and to gender ideology.
Will parents live up to their duty? If they fail to do so, this will cause untold harm not only to their children but to countless future generations as well.
