On June 22, in the morning, I went to the offices of the local council in St Paul’s Bay, taking with me seven written points of general interest for the locality to be discussed with the executive secretary.
I was informed he was not in his office and that he keeps irregular hours. In his absence, I spoke with the male clerk who listened and went over the list with me. He also signed for their acceptance.
Not having either heard from the council (not even the proverbial sterile acknowledgment) or seen the complaints attended to, on July 17, at 12.37pm, I sent an ‘e-mail chaser’ to the mayor.
Utter silence and inertia.
I very much regret I have, once again, as I have done in the past, courtesy of the Times of Malta, to expose this public official, who is handsomely paid out of taxpayers’ coffers, for her lack of correct management skills.
Her mayoral ineptitude leaves me no option but to declare once again that St Paul’s Bay has a very ineffective lady mayor.
