A four-year-old Hungarian girl who lost her beloved sleeping buddy yesterday is appealing to readers to return her toy should it be found.

Her father George Domjan, who has been living in Malta for the past three months, told the Times of Malta that since his daughter Ninushka realised that her Marge (Simpsons) soft toy was lost, she had not stopped crying.

“Please help her find her toy so she would be happy again,” he appealed.

Mr Domjan said the family was at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta yesterday and then took the X4 bus to Birzebbuga, where they swam for some time.

They then took another X4 bus and changed to bus 201 to Rabat, where they realised that Ninushka’s buddy was lost.

Mr Domjan's family left Malta this morning having been here for one month.

Ninushka had to return home without her toy but her father promised to do all he could to find it and send it to her.

Anyone finding Ninushka's soft toy should contact her father, who lives in Mgarr, to make arrangements for him to pick it up. The toy includes a tag which says DOMJÁN Krisztina Anna ♡.
