BONELLO. On August 9, ex-Enemalta Eur.Ing. CARMEL (Charles) passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and his family. He is loved and will be deeply missed by his wife Marie-Therese, his daughter Marina, his sons Alexander and Claude, as well as his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will be said tomorrow at 9am St Mary’s parish church, Attard. No flowers by request but donations to the Missionary Society of St Paul (MSSP), Rabat, or to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. CAMILLERI. On August 9, at Villa Messina, Rabat, JOSEPHINE of Rabat, aged 85, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Toti, her children Mary and her husband Freddie Farrugia, Joyce and her husband Freddie Chircop, Mario and his wife Mary, Paul and his wife Josette, Philip and his partner Andrea and Donald and his wife Michelle, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Pawla, her brother Leli and his wife Benny, numerous relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina on Friday, August 14 at 2.45pm for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Żebbuġ. GALEA. On August 9, ABEL, aged 81, went to meet the Risen Lord. He is loved and will be deeply missed by his wife Carmen, his children Martha and her husband Henry, Noel and his wife Mariella, his grandsons Luke and Jack, his sisters, his in-laws, their families, other relatives and numerous friends. Funeral Mass will be held today at 8.30am at St Mary’s parish church, Mosta. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Kleru, Fleur-de-Lys, Birkirkara, will be appreciated. PACE. On August 9, at Loyola House, Naxxar, Brother WILLIAM PACE, SJ, aged 89, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren in the Society of Jesus, his sister Bice, widow of John Bezzina, his sister-in-law Edith, widow of his brother Lawrence, his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 4pm at Loyola House, 38, Marquis Scicluna Street, Naxxar, followed by interment at the parish cemetery in Naxxar. No flowers by request, but donations to the Jesuit Province Infirmary for the aged and sick Jesuit Fathers and Brothers will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
VELLA. On August 9, CARMEL of Attard, residing in Senglea, aged 74, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Greatly missed by his wife Sylvia, his daughters Isabelle and her husband Aldo Briffa and Mary and her fiancé Stephen Schembri, his beloved grandchildren Matthew and Elena, his sisters Sr Domizia Vella, Augustinian Sister and Mary Borg and her son Brian, his in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7am for Our Lady of Victories Basilica, Senglea, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 7.45am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her loving children Francis, Rita, Joe (stone sculptor) and his wife Miriam, Raymond and his wife Bernardette, Maria (Marie’s Salon), Anne and her husband Stephen Mercieca, Mario, Mikelina and her husband Victor Sultana, Paul and his wife GloriaAnn, her grandchildren Lorna and her husband Alvin, Klara, Elvienne and her husband Noel, Andrè, Eric, Edwina and her partner Ino Mario, Kenneth, Darren and his wife Karen, Matthew and his wife Kara, Joseph, Anthony and Julian, her seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital today at 4.15pm for Għajnsielem parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 5pm followed by interment at Għajnsielem Cemetery.
