So Mark Musù purports to believe in pension reform. So why has he missed out of his articles the issue of service pensions? I came to Malta with reserved Royal Air Force pension, which I earned in the UK serving my country and then I worked for 25 years in Malta.

I paid my NI and my income tax. My only sin was that I had a service pension.

Both the PN and the PL have systematically robbed service pensioners by subtracting that pension from the State pension.

If one truly believes in genuine reform then one should first correct such an injustice and, then, one might have some credibility with pensioners.

Until then, one would simply be paying lip service to whoever is in power.
