GALEA. On August 6, EMANUEL (Melovan) of Valletta, aged 58, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mhairi, his children Gareth and Gavin, his brother and sister, Kenneth and Tanya, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, August 8 at 7.30am for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. PACE. On August 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSARIA of St Julians, aged 94, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, Ronnie, widow of her daughter Carolina, her children Sam, Paul, Carmen, and Marianne, their spouses, her grandchildren Stephen, Lorraine, Simon, Andrew, Sharon, Reuben, Christa, and Matthew, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for St Julians parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. TABONE. On August 4, at St Vincent de Paul residence, ROSARIA (Lucy) of Paola, residing at San Ġwann, widow of Charles, aged 97, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her sons Anthony and his wife Carmen, Godwin, Ray and his girlfriend Kate, her daughter Joyce and her husband Neville Mallia, her sister Pauline Cassar, residing in Australia, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral takes place tomorrow. Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am at Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord, grant her eternal rest. VELLA. On August 5, JOHN of Xemxija, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Paul Jean, Jenny and her husband Louis, Val and her husband Mark, his grandson Gabriel, his sister Valerie and her husband Joe, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, and his devoted carer Jena Lyn. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday at 7.30am for the church of St Joseph the Worker on Xemxija Hill, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
