I refer to the letter from Marthese Spiteri, ‘Qualifications framework’, on July 14, incidentally the National Day of France.

It is a pleasure to read about her interest in furthering her knowledge and proficiency of the French language.

French is spoken in many parts of the world and is the official language of major international organisations.

The Alliance Française de Malte Méditerranée is the local representative of the DELF DALF international diplomas. These are awarded by the French Ministry of Education and are internationally recognised.

Over the years we have prepared candidates from various backgrounds for diverse reasons: university students; those in search of a career in EU or international institutions; job opportunities with French companies in Malta; better professional prospects in the tourism sector, and so on.

We organise two sessions per year and boast an excellent success rate.

The Alliance Française, in conformity with legal requirements, forwarded all the information regarding these diplomas to the relevant authorities.

The DELF DALF diplomas are now locally recognised by NCFHE and MQRIC and range from level 1 (DELF A2) to level 5 (DALF C2).

May I invite Ms Spiteri to get in touch with me to discuss how we can help her find the most suitable class.
