Acid-Nights and Interstellar are teaming up for a doublebill of electronic artists, the Glaswegian Vince Watson and the California-born Tin Man, who will be performing live sets.

Also performing on the night are Acidulant and Brian James, Manthrax, Cloned, Decib3l and Resume Inc. The even includes a visual installation by Digital Nature.

Watson’s works have caused an impact with a personal hypnotic perspective of groovy, melodic and atmospheric sounds.

His debut album, Moments in Time, was released on New York’s Ibadan label, along with Alola Records in the UK, helping him gain worldwide recognition as one of techno’s leading producers and live acts.

Two years later Watson released Echoes From the Future: View to the Past and Sublimina, demonstrating his diversity and breathing new life into electronica, a trend he continued with The eMotion Sequence. A sixth album, Every Soul Needs a Guide, was completed in 2012.

Watson’s own label, Bio Music, has consistently produced quality techno, with support and high profile licences from the likes of Carl Cox to Laurent Garnier. Considered a master of the neo acid scene, Tin Man has been producing music for more than a decade and continues to evolve and invigorate with each and every release.

Over the past decade, the man, born as Johannes Auvinen, has explored an ever-evolving sound palette that touches on house, techno and ambient. Much like his namesake’s character in the Wizard of Oz, he has been on a mission to find his true self, except that his medium has been music.

The event takes place on Saturday at Avalon Club, Birżebbuġa. Tickets are available from www.showshappening.com.
