McLEOD. On July 30, MARION, née Campbell, passed away peacefully at her home in Siġġiewi. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband of 47 years, Ian McKenzie, her mother, her sister and sister-in-law and her sons Euan Paul and Niall Mark and their respective families and her many friends in Malta and across the world. The funeral will be held in Scotland and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date at St Andrew’s Scots church, Valletta. No flowers please but donations to Dar Teresa Spinelli, Valletta, or to MacMillan Trust, Scotland, would be appreciated.
SALIBA. On August 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, LOUIS, widower of Carmen, née Bezzina of Marsascala, aged 88, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Marthese and her husband John Grima, Charles and his wife Marion, John and his wife Maria, Renzo and his wife Rosalie, Silvana and her husband Paul Scerri, his grandchildren Lorna and her husband Rodrick Agius, Sarah and her husband Stefan Polidano, Malcolm and his wife Lorna, Ylenia and her husband Jean Micallef Grimaud, Erika and her fiancé Peter, Andrea and his fiancée Mirella, Maria Krista and her fiancé Dylan, Thomas and his fiancée Rodianne and Giulia, his great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for St Anne parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Closure of sub post offices
The Mellieħa sub post office, on 51, George Borg Olivier Street, Mellieħa, will be closed between Monday and August 8. Postal services will be provided from the Mellieħa post office on 100, New Windmill Street, Mellieħa.
The sub post office at C and C Stationery, Fleur De-Lys Road, Santa Venera, will also be closed from August 10 to 15. Postal services, including the collection of mail items, will be available from the Ħamrun Post Office on 18, Railway Street, Ħamrun.
Meanwhile, the sub post office at Forex, 16, Market Square, Tarxien, will be closed from August 7 to August 18. Services will be provided from the Paola post office at Civic Centre, Antoine de Paule Square, Paola.
