Tenor Joseph Calleja yesterday presented Corinthia Group chairman Alfred Pisani (left) with a portrait by Philippa Bianchi (right) in recognition of the hotelier’s contribution as a patron of the BOV Joseph Calleja Foundation. Calleja yesterday also took the time to open an exhibition by seven St Patrick’s Salesian boys, ahead of Monday’s annual summer concert at the Luxol grounds. Called Art through the eyes and soul of the child, the exhibition is supported by his foundation and is open all week between 9am and 7pm until August 5. Set up two years ago, the foundation supports young people in the field of performing arts.
