I registered in June at the Valletta bus station. My EU passport was scanned. I presented my address, which has been permanent for many years.

Yet, I am still waiting for my Tallinja card to arrive. My husband, who registered at the same time, did receive his card.

All my numerous enquiries have not been of any help. In fact, they have been both annoying and even frustrating.

Some e-mails have been ignored and some answered after a considerable time, mentioning as an excuse customer care’s excessive mail.

A couple of times I have been asked to provide my passport number by mail. To no avail.

Some time ago, one of the customer care representatives even indicated that my card was being processed while another one kept asking me to send my Maltese ID.

I guess I have to face it: my registration seems to be in a black hole and nobody seems to care.

I am looking forward to some form of explanation. Hopefully, even to a solution because I am a great believer in the benefits of public transportation.
