Encouraged by positive feedback from the previous four editions of the 10-kilometre Night Run, organisers Żurrieq Wolves Athletics Club have confirmed that the 2015 race will be held on Friday, August 7.

The Żurrieq Wolves night run is the only race in the local road running calendar that starts very late in the day.

It is held in a traffic-free environment as participants run along Mdina Road in Żebbuġ.

The race on August 7 starts at 8.30pm. Those interested can register and get more details of the race online (www.zurrieqwolves athletics.com).

On race day, officials will be registering entries from next to the St Dorothy’s College parking area.

Besides the awards for the first three runners home in both male and female categories, other trophies will be distributed to the winners in each age category.

This year, the race organisers will also contribute with donations to the Malta Community Chest Fund through the campaign Solidarjeta’ bl-isports.
