Paul Camilleri of Cospicua has won a year of free travel on the public bus network with the tallinja card as he marked the one millionth journey made using the card.

Since the card was launched on July 1, around 60,000 journeys have been made with a card every day. Last Thursday, Mr Camilleri's card logged the millionth journey.

Mr Camilleri, who uses the public transport daily, had positive comments about the network and the card system, the company said adding that he also gave important feedback which would help the company improve passengers’ experience on buses.
