Students from Mater Admirabilis Teachers’ Training College’s 1963-1965 course of studies held their 50th anniversary reunion at the college, now the Archbishop’s Seminary, in Rabat, where a thanksgiving Mass was concelebrated by Archbishop Charles Scicluna, Mgr Victor Grech and Fr Michael Bugeja. During the homily, the Archbishop thanked teachers, past and present, for their dedication and valid contribution to the education sector. Hymns learnt during college days were sung to the accompaniment on the organ by Winnie Gatt (Vella). This was followed by lunch in the refectory. Three past lecturers, Mgr Victor Grech, Sr Pauline Curmi and Helen Borg Bonnici, also attended. Sr Monica Barudi and other students who could not make it sent e-mails or greetings, which were read out by Anita Tagliaferro (Stroud).
