Italy's President Sergio Mattarella will be in Malta on an official visit tomorrow.

He will have talks with President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca at the Palace in San Anton and with Prime Minister Joseph Muscat at Castille.

Both sides will discuss issues of common interest, bilateral relations, the situation in the Mediterranean and the latest developments in Europe.

President Mattarella is also expected to visit Parliament and St John's Co-Cathedral.
