I refer to the letter by Malcolm Briffa (director, Melita Customer Experience) on July 14.

I would like to inform Mr Briffa that he is in some way incorrect. When I went to the Melita office in Valletta, apart from the heat and people shouting and grumbling because of the few staff available, I presented his letter dated June 1 and requested to be registered to start receiving my bills via e-mail.

I was told that I can only register for one account as I have only one email address.

The assistant at the outlet told me that I would receive the bill for the other account by post and pay the charges (€1.00/€1.50).

I presented my 60+ identity card and was never told that I would not be charged.

So I assume that employees are not aware of what Melita Cable is offering.
