The liturgical feast of St Mary Magdalene will be celebrated at the church dedicated to her in Merchants Street, Valletta, on Wednesday. Dominican parish priest Michael Camilleri will celebrate Mass at 7pm with the participation of the Cappella Sanctae Catherinae choir.

The church, run by the Dominican community of Valletta, underwent extensive restoration work and cleaning both on the interior and exterior following years of neglect and deconsecration. It was blessed by Archbishop Charles Scicluna earlier this year.
