Thousands of miles away in China, Air Malta’s future hangs in the balance as a strategic investor is sought – but just in case any of that tension was seeping through to its passengers, the airline had a solution: a spa treatment.

The Sky Spa is the first ever free in-flight spa experience onboard a commercial short-haul flight. Flights KM 116/7 to and from Gatwick were chosen for the launch of this innovative experience.

The initiative is being provided through Myoka Spas and will be available on selected flights. Passengers are offered various beauty product samples and later pampered with complimentary treatments, including hand, feet and neck massages.

Customers were also presented with a €20 voucher for use at any Myoka Spa in Malta.

“This experience is just the beginning and part of a series of similar projects that Air Malta will be launching in the near future aimed at enhancing customers experience and showing that the airline ‘cares more’,” the airline said.
