Vodafone Malta is giving its prepaid customers a range of gifts each time they top-up during the months of July and August.

The gifts consist of a choice of three different free bundles: a mobile internet bundle; a call-time bundle; or an SMS bundle. Customers should choose which gift bundle they would like to receive and register once by SMS before they top-up.

There is also a new Vodafone Smart 6 phone up for grabs each week for all customers who top up online, either through the Vodafone website or through the My Vodafone app.

Honda Civic Tourer sets record for fuel efficiency

Honda has set a new Guinness World Records title for lowest fuel consumption, recording an average 2.82 litres per 100km over 13,498km, in a 25-day drive across all 24 EU contiguous countries.

Behind the wheel of a Honda Civic Tourer 1.6 i-DTEC for the entire journey were two members of Honda’s European Research and Development team, Fergal McGrath (left) and Julian Warren.

The car achieved an average 1,500km on each tank of fuel, at a total fuel cost for the whole journey of just €645.

New Malta Business Book online directory launched

A new online business directory aimed at giving Maltese companies a boost in international markets has been launched.

The Malta Business Book, operated by Web Matters, already lists hundreds of companies. The website is being backed internationally by the Ministry for the Economy and by Business First.

For a €250 annual subscription fee, organisations can create a profile, which can include images, videos, written descriptions, social media links as well as contact information. The website has been search engine optimised and is being extensively marketed.
