Prime Minister Joseph Muscat today visited the Maltese Pavillion at Expo 2015 in Milan.

The pavilion is showcasing Malta as a modern island with a unique identity and Malta Day was today celebrated at the Expo.

Accompanied by a delegation from Trade Malta and representatives from Malta Enterprise, Dr Muscat was told about the impressive amounts of people who are daily visiting this Pavillion through which various important contacts are being established.

He was also presented with main Expo publications which Italian publishers printed in Malta.

“This is the type of business we want to keep on attracting. We can convince the international community that Malta is an idyllic tourist attraction and also an ideal site for business.

"From aviation to logistics, from the printing industry to microchip technology. Government is fully committed to further develop other sectors, such as health and education, through new investors who we have the potential to build relationships with”, Dr Muscat said.
