The 2014 Neptunes WPSC annual magazine has just been published. A bumper 120-page publication, the magazine is the 85th anniversary edition.

The annual covers the club’s events during a year in which Neptunes broke new ground when winning a record fifth championship title in succession, a feat depicted prominently on the front cover.

The lavishly illustrated publication features all historical statistics on local waterpolo since the start of the game in Malta with special focus on Neptunes’ senior team last year.

There are match summaries and several articles written by Alex Vella, the Times of Malta aquatic sport correspondent.

National team statistics, women’s and national age-group waterpolo, swimming and synchronised swimming cover a wide spectrum of aquatic sports practised on the islands.

The publication is a veritable compendium for all those who follow the different aquatic disciplines. It is edited by veteran member Leonard Zammit and is available from the club premises in Balluta Bay.

Incidentally, the editor will now be calling it a day after 27 annuals including the 50th and 75th anniversary souvenir publications.
