I hope the proposals to build two towers in the Tigné area in Sliema are rejected. We complain about cars causing pollution but when it comes to building with cement, I believe this is much more of a hazard than fumes. These two towers are being built in the middle of residential areas where people have had more than enough of drilling and cement dust.
I feel that the people behind the towers should take into consideration the health of the many people who will be affected by these projects.
This is a very serious matter. Residents will have to suffer for a minimum of five years before the towers are completed.
