Three teachers and six students from Stella Maris College, Gżira, led by headmaster Frank Micallef, spent a week in Sitia, Crete, for the fourth and last meeting of a two-year Comenius project.
The project, aimed at promoting research, understanding and cultural awareness of the Mediterranean Sea, also involved schools in Portugal, Sicily and Greece.
The local school’s participation in the project was supported by the European Union Programmes Agency.
