• Air passengers are entitled to care and assistance regardless of the cause of delay or cancellation.
• Financial compensation applies to cancelled flights and to flights that are delayed for more than three hours.
• Air passengers are not entitled to compensation when they arrive at their destination at the same time of the original flight.
•Monetary compensation may not be claimed if a flight is delayed or cancelled because of extraordinary circumstances outside the airline’s control, such as extreme weather conditions and strikes.
