BERRY. On July 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, Sister M. RITA (Maria) of the Sisters of Charity, aged 85, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her brothers Fr Joe, Jessie Vella, widow of her brother Anthony, the family of her late brother William, Melda, widow of her brother George, Helen and her husband Charles, Gemma, Susan widow of her brother Emanuel, Doris, widow of Joe Mallia, Tony and his wife Mary, Fr John, her nephew, other nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for the sisters’ convent at 55, Birbal Street, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 9.30am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. DELIA. On July 6, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, AGNES, née Bonello, aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her son Patrick and his wife Angelica, her daughter Angela and her husband Daniel Fleri Soler, her son John, her beloved grandchildren Emma and her fiancé Ruud, Gianni and his girlfriend Emily, Beppe and Ella. She also leaves to mourn her loss her sister Joyce and her husband Tony Cachia, her brothers, Tony and Gladys and Frank and Helga, her sisters-in-law Marga Delia and Mariella and John Gambina, her nephews, nieces and her numerous friends. ELLUL. On July 6, at Apap Institute, St Venera, Sr VIRGINIA, OP, aged 88, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. SCICLUNA. On Thursday, July 2, at Santo Spirito in Saxia Hospital, Rome, EMANUEL of Qormi and residing in Lija, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his dear wife Maria Carmela, née Falzon, his children, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna, Monica and her husband Ray Lanzon, Josette and her husband Emanuel Grixti, and Jesmond and his wife Wendy, his grandchildren Stephen, Francesca, Christine, Maurizio, Bernadette, and Alexander, his many siblings, in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. TABONE – ANTHONY GEORGE.
