As the title implies, I want publicly to thank Our Lady and Our Lord for helping me throughout my life but especially now, when my needs are innumerable.

My thanks, now, also go to all staff at Emergency and Surgical Admissions units, as well as S5, undoubtedly leaving no one out, from the telephone operators to the ambulance people.

Finally, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to all blood donors for while in hospital I was the recipient of a number of units of blood.
