I refer to the letter ‘Value for money?’ (The Sunday Times of Malta, June 28) and wholeheartedly agree with Alfred Saliba’s comments. We definitely are not getting value for money when we buy a British newspaper.

I buy the Sunday Mirror and recently the front page highlighted an article about Coleen Nolan telling readers to turn a particular page. However, when I looked through the paper, there was nothing about Coleen.

I actually wrote to the company that prints the UK newspapers in Malta regarding that particular article but did not receive a reply.

Can someone please explain why we pay so much for the papers which are printed here?
