A new Master of Science in Petroleum Studies will be launched by the University’s Faculty of Science in October.

The full-time taught course will cover geological and geophysical theory and issues related to the formation of oil and gas, surveying and extraction, and commercial and legal aspects.

Students will be taught by local and foreign experts in the field, and will gain hands-on experience using geological/geophysical equipment and modern processing software.

The course is aimed at science and engineering graduates who wish to enter or enhance their technical, scientific and management career in the petroleum industry.
