Thirteen students from St Margaret College Secondary schools in Verdala, Cospicua and Żejtun presented a play and a song in German at the PASCH Theatre Festival in Berlin. Students learning German in France, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain and Hungary also took part.

This was the third time that a group of Maltese students from St Margaret College learning German participated in the festival, following the college’s appointment as a PASCH college two years ago.

This year’s play Folge Deinem Traum (Follow your dream) was about a boy being brainwashed by his dad into becoming a kickboxer star. However, unhappy with this kind of life, the boy goes against all odds to follow his dream, that of becoming a doctor.

The Maltese team consisted of Miriana Fenech, Bradley Fenech, Kane Bonello, Britney Galea, Chloé Cachia, Martina Pace, Leann Ellul, Melchior Tabone, Lee Falzon, Brenda Portelli, Yeves Saré, Nadesh Bartolo and Lenard Camilleri, as well as German teachers Michela Bugeja and Marcelle Cannataci.
