A collection of abstract art, landscapes and sculptures by Danish artist Rune Bo Jakobsen is being displayed at Chateau D’Ax, Santa Venera until July 31.

Jakobsen studied at the Istituto Statale d’Arte di Orvieto and Monopoli in Italy, followed by a masters in architecture at the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. He has studied, worked and tutored workshops in Denmark, the US, Italy, Finland, Greece, Mexico and Malta.

Now settled in Malta, his paintings capture his expression in the colours hidden within the shadows and portrays the emotions embedded within a space and glow within an individual.

The artist also enjoys experimenting with concrete sculptures.
