Australian soft rock group Air Supply will be performing at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre, Ta’ Qali on August 28 as part of a worldwide tour to mark their 40th anniversary.

British born singer and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock met in 1975 during the first day of rehearsal of Jesus Christ Superstar in Sydney, Australia.

The group will perform top hits

The duo first started performing in bars and restaurants in Australia before moving on to the international scene.

In 1980, Lost in Love became the fastest selling single in the world. The second single was All Out Of Love and went up in the charts even quicker. The albums Lost in Love, The One That You Love, Now and Forever and The Greatest Hits sold in excess of 20 million copies.

During their Malta concert, the group is expected to perform top hits such as Just as I Am, Two Less Lonely People In The World, Even and The Nights Are Better.
