The fifth and final performer in this year’s Isle of MTV, Omi, was revealed by MTV and the Malta Tourism Authority this morning.

Omi is the star behind this year’s platinum selling, summer anthem Cheerleader. He will be joining Jason Derulo, Echosmith, Tori Kelly and DJ Martin Garrix.

Tuesday's concert is the ninth to be held in Malta.

The open-air concert will be filmed and edited into a 60-minute special that will broadcast across 20 MTV channels throughout Europe from August 1.

In a statement this afternoon, the MTA said various traffic and security arrangements are being made in connection with the concert.

It said the car park on the Granaries will be closed until Friday with the possibility of an extension. The Phoenicia car park will be closed on Tuesday from 5pm. Cars will be able to access the MCP car park; however they will not be allowed entry to Triton Fountain.

Triq Sarrija will be closed for bus transit all day on Tuesday and until noon on Wednesday.St Publius Street will be closed until Thursday.

The alighting and boarding point for anyone accessing the stand for the disabled is next to the Independence Monument.

Malta Public Transport will be operating a special service on the concert night until 1am, extended to 2am if necessary.

Tickets will cost €3 and may be purchased on the bus. Tallinja Card holders may use their card on the night and will pay a special price of €2.50.
