CATANIA. On July 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY, of Naxxar aged 79, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Evelyn, his sons Patrick, Kevin and his wife Joanna, grandchildren Andrew and Luke, his brothers and sisters Victor and his wife Ines, Fr. Carmel Catania, Joseph and his wife Doris, Mary, Emanuel (Society of the Doctrine MUSEUM), Sister Anne Catania, Paul and his wife Marisa, his in-laws Charles Vella and his wife Loida, Emanuela wife of the late John, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday July 4, for Our Lady of Victories, parish church Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45am followed by interment at Naxxar Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Nuns at St Claire Monastery, St Julians will be greatly appreciated.

JOSLIN. On July 1, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, MARY, née Borg, widow of Henry, from Sta Luċija, passed away peacefully, at the venerable age of 102, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Sidney and his wife Carmen, her daughter Louise widow of Ronald Abdilla, her grandchildren Jonathan and his wife Blanche, Lynne, Matthew, Gregory and his wife Clare, Annabelle and her husband Evander Borg, Angelique and her husband Kevin Caruana Montaldo, Simon and his wife Miriam, her great-grandchildren Rebecca, Hannah, James, Ben, Sarah, Gavin, Aiden, Clara and Shawn, her brother Francis and his wife Sylvia of Canada, her sister in-law Denise, widow of her brother Paul of England, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Antonia, Balzan, tomorrow, Friday, at 8am for Sta Luċija parish church, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery (entrance through the back gate). No flowers by request, but donations to Radju Marija, Rabat will be greatly appreciated. The family thanks the management, staff and carers at Casa Antonia, Balzan, for their dedication and care during her stay at the home. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
