Eder: Swansea have announced the signing of Portugal striker Eder for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old will move to the Liberty Stadium from Braga. He has agreed a three-year deal with the Premier League club, and will enhance the Swans’ attacking firepower alongside the likes of Bafetimbi Gomis and recent signing Andre Ayew.

Niang: French forward M’Baye Niang has signed a two-year contract extension with Milan. The 20-year-old, who joined Milan from Caen three years ago, will now be tied to the Rossoneri until 2019. Niang joined Genoa on loan in January and enjoyed some success, scoring five goals in 14 games.

Goal bonanza: The crazy goal-fests that highlight the Estonian FA Cup continued on Tuesday when Premier League side Paide beat rank amateurs JK Raudteetoolised 31-0 with Paide easing up after leading 19-0 at half-time. The scoreline matched the record for an official international when Australia beat American Samoa 31-0 in a World Cup qualifier in 2001.

Vydra: Czech striker Matej Vydra has completed a permanent move to Watford. The 23-year-old has signed a five-year deal to end his spell with Italian club Udinese after impressing during two loan spells at Vicarage Road.

Distin: Sylvain Distin has completed a move to Bournemouth on a one-year deal. The 37-year-old was a free agent following his release by Everton at the end of the season and becomes Eddie Howe’s sixth summer signing. Distin made more than 200 appearances for the Toffees.

Leeds: Leeds have announced the signing of striker Chris Wood from Leicester for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old New Zealand international has penned a four-year deal to become the Whites’ fourth summer arrival. “I think he’s an-other important piece in the jigsaw,” head coach Uwe Rosler said. “We were looking for a number nine type – like Chris Wood is.”
