Klaus: Hanover have announced the signing of Freiburg’s Felix Klaus. The 22-year-old winger has signed a deal through to the end of the 2018/19 season.“Despite having other Bundesliga offers, Felix Klaus turned them all down and decided to pick Hanover which makes us happy,” said sporting director Dirk Dufner.

O’Driscoll: England Under-19 manager Sean O’Driscoll is set to join Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers’s coaching staff at Anfield. The 57-year-old, who has previously had spells in charge at Nottingham Forest, Doncaster, Bournemouth, Crawley and Bristol City, is being brought in as part of the summer overhaul of the backroom team.

Charity logo: Stoke are to highlight the issue of child malnutrition when they take part in the Asia Trophy this month. The Potters will wear the Asian Football Federation’s One Goal logo on their shirts during the tournament in Singapore to raise awareness of the fact that an estimated 200 million or more children in Asia are affected by poor nutrition. Stoke open their campaign against Premier League rivals Everton on July 15 with Arsenal and a Singapore Select XI the other teams involved.

Ba: Charlton have signed French midfielder El Hadji Ba from Sunderland. Ba has signed a three-year deal at The Valley after managing just three appearances for the Black Cats since arriving two years ago. The 22-year-old scored on his Sunderland debut in an FA Cup clash against Carlisle but spent last year on loan at Bastia.

Friendlies: David Moyes will take his Real Sociedad team to the Energy Assets Arena next month for a friendly with Scottish Championship side Livingston. The Primera Division outfit are undertaking a tour of Moyes’s homeland which will start with a fixture against Scottish champions Celtic on July 10. Four days later, Sociedad will take on Livingston in a game that will kick off at 7.30pm.
