Ten Nigerian migrants were repatriated over the past three months in three operations, the police said.

The migrants were escorted on the flights to Lagos by officers from the police Immigration Section.

The repatriation flights were jointly organised with the Norwegian, Dutch and Italian authorities and coordinated by Frontex.

The police said more work was being done with the ministries of foreign affairs and home affairs for such repatriations to continue.

Most of the costs of the flights are being borne by the ER.
